Nearly Nicks "the stories of Stevie Nicks"
Julie Myers grew up in the musical city of Memphis, In. The youngest of five children, she demonstrated a talent and love for the performing arts at a very young age. He mother recalls that when Julie was still wearing diapers, she would dance around in her playpen keeping a perfect beat to whatever music was playing.
Music was big in the Myers household and her mother enrolled her in a performing arts program. By the age of seven Julie was studying several forms of dance, including ballet, tap and jazz. She also studied singing, acting and gymnastics. Julie has been performing ever since.
Her early career consisted of performing in local theatre, them parks and trade shows. She eventually moved out west to Las Vegas where she has graced many a stage with her singing and dance talents. Appearing at hotel casinos such as "The Continental" "The Maxim" "The Landmark" and "The Imperial Palace". She has also performed in Reno, Laughlin and Lake Tahoe Nevada.
Julie's dance career ended abruptly after suffering a bad fall while performing, injuring her knee and back. This only fuelled her fire to sing and continue to perform even more. Her motto is "When the stage is your home, you will do whatever it takes to live there".
She moved to Palm Springs in 2008 when she landed a job as a Stevie Nicks impersonator at "The Morongo Spa and Casino" in a celebrity review. Bearing a striking resemblance to the legendary Ms. Nick, Julie enjoys paying tribute to The Queen of Rock!
